Every strong drawing starts with confident lines. In this foundational session, we focus on building control, consistency, and muscle memory through intentional line work—something artists at every level return to as a warm-up and skill builder. From there, we break down complex subjects into simple, approachable forms like cubes, cylinders, and spheres, helping you understand how everything around you can be constructed from basic shapes. Students will also be introduced to light and shadow, learning how to add depth and dimension through simple shading techniques. This class is all about slowing down, sharpening your observation, and building a solid base for everything you’ll create moving forward. This is the first class in an 8-part Sketch Club series, with new sessions held monthly, each building on the last.
