This class will be held on Wednesday, October 28 from 10 am - 12 pm at Grain & Berry (1806 20th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212)
Explore the beauty of watercolor through a botanical study of blueberries. In this class, you’ll learn how to build soft, translucent layers and blend blues, purples, and subtle warm tones to create natural color variation. We’ll focus on using light and shadow to give each berry shape and dimension, then add simple leaves and branches with loose, organic brushwork.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, from building the first layers of color to bringing the full composition together. While the class provides plenty of guidance, there’s also room to experiment with color and brushwork and let your own style come through.
No prior watercolor experience is needed, and all skill levels are welcome.
