Join us for a special Blue and White Porcelain Minhwa One-Day Workshop hosted by The Open Art Lab in collaboration with traditional Minhwa instructor Jeon-Young. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll explore the beauty of traditional Korean folk art while creating a beautiful blue-and-white porcelain vase featuring peony flowers.
Blue-and-white porcelain has a long history in Korean art, celebrated for its elegant designs and timeless beauty. In this workshop, you’ll create your own porcelain-inspired piece to take home, drawing inspiration from Minhwa-style painting.
This is a one-day, three-hour workshop, and participants will complete their piece during the class. No previous painting experience is necessary—this workshop is perfect for beginners, anyone interested in Korean culture and traditional art, or anyone looking for a fun and creative afternoon.
