Join us for a special Traditional Minhwa Two-Part Workshop in collaboration with traditional Korean Minhwa instructor Jeon-Young. Explore the beauty and symbolism of Minhwa (Korean Folk Art) while creating a larger, more detailed traditional painting over two sessions.
For this workshop, you'll paint the beloved Magpie and Tiger design, a popular subject in Korean folk art!
Because this is a more detailed artwork, participants will work on the same painting across two sessions, giving you plenty of time to learn traditional techniques, explore the symbolism behind the imagery, and thoughtfully develop your piece.
No previous painting experience is necessary—this workshop is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone interested in Korean culture, traditional art, or looking for a creative experience to enjoy over two afternoons.
