Learn the fundamentals of urban sketching through the simple beauty of plants. In this beginner-friendly class, Jeon-Young will guide students through drawing potted plants directly from observation, exploring how to break complex subjects into simple shapes, understand proportion, capture the natural movement of leaves, and build texture and depth with pen and ink.

Rather than focusing on perfect lines or creating a polished illustration, this class is about learning how to truly observe, simplify what you see, and develop confidence in your own sketching process. The techniques you learn can be carried beyond the classroom and used to capture everyday surroundings—from plants at home and cozy café corners to parks, city streets, and scenes while traveling.

No prior drawing experience is needed. All levels are welcome, and students will be guided step-by-step throughout the class.
